This page
will show you our pro class body mounts For our pro stock trucks, pro stocks and pro mods we
use Velcro on the sides, the rear license plate area is notched in the bodies
with a cut off wheel dremel, the wheelie bars then set down in the body to
lock the back of the body from coming down too low. The front wheels are
glued to the chassis, and this is your front end height adjustment. The pro
mods and trucks use a plastic dowel post to stop the front end from coming
down too low. The funny cars have plastic glued to the front of chassis, and
a 2-56 set screw attaches the body to chassis, in the back we drill a hole,
then tap a 2-56 screw hole to in rear of chassis, mounting it to the plastic
mount piece glued under the back window. The dragsters have a 40 thou plastic
piece glued to the front of chassis, you then tap it with the 2-56 tap, drill
a hole in drivers gut, where the 2-56 screw will go down to mount to the
chassis underneath, the back magnet clip is drilled and tapped with a 2-56
tap as well, drill a hole in back of body just behind the plastic motor and
mount a 2-56 screw through it. |
